1. In the architecture The Science of Design video we learned how sky scrappers are built not only to withstand gravity but also withstand wind, earthquakes, weather and time. This video also talks about concrete and how it is made and the uses of it as a building material. In the Classical Architecture video it talked about the 3 types of styles of Greece (Doric, Ionic and Corinthian) and the two styles of Roman architecture (Tuscan and Composite). This video also talked about arches and how key they are to modern architecture.
2. The classical video basically reiterates the chapter and the science video introduces new material for the modern type of architecture.
3. I thought the films were very informative but a little boring and long. The films added depth by increasing the material that the book talked about.
4. I picked these two videos because they seemed interesting to me and the Frank Lloyd Wright video wasn't loading for me.
