module 15 videos

1. In the Greenberg and Pollock video I learned about Jackson Pollock who was an abstract expressionist. In the video Greenberg and Clark go over the career of Pollock, they especially go over his works during the 1940's when he methods were considered freakish. In the Colonial Encounter video I learned about foreign ethnicity's and their different cultures. It was basically a brief over about foreign artwork and customs.

2. Both videos relate to the creation of the project. I was able to see both points of view from the video and they both showed how you should critique artwork especially the Clark video. I think that would have been helpful to see before the project.

3. I thought the films were somewhat informational but a little dry. I think that both videos added to my understanding of art criticism.
